Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace may use necessary cookies to operate website features and analytics or performance cookies to help measure how visitors interact with the site.
Website information may include page views, traffic sources, device type, browser information, and general usage patterns. Squarespace explains that its analytics cookies may identify unique visitors and connect activity occurring during a visitor’s sessions.
You may be able to control nonessential cookies through the website’s cookie banner or through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect website functionality or the accuracy of website analytics.
Squarespace provides website owners with privacy tools, but advises each business to determine which privacy laws and disclosures apply to its own activities.
7. Tern and Secure Travel Information
Journeys by Janell uses Tern for functions that may include travel inquiries, consultations, client records, proposals, itineraries, forms, and travel-management services.
Information submitted through Tern may be processed and stored by Tern according to its privacy policy and contractual relationship with Journeys by Janell. Tern states that sensitive information transmitted through its platform is protected using encryption and that passport information receives additional encryption protections.
You should still submit sensitive information only when requested and only through the secure method provided.
8. Email and Marketing Communications
When a newsletter or marketing-email service is introduced, you may voluntarily subscribe to receive travel tips, promotions, destination information, and Journeys by Janell updates.
Every promotional email will provide a method for unsubscribing. You may unsubscribe at any time, although you may continue receiving nonmarketing communications necessary to service an active inquiry or reservation.
