After nearly 30 years in accounting and controller roles, I followed my longtime love of travel into a new chapter as a full-time travel advisor. I created Journeys by Janell to give travelers the kind of thoughtful, personal support that makes planning feel easier—not more overwhelming.

I specialize in all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and Hawaii, but my real focus is getting to know you. I take the time to understand your travel style, priorities, and budget so I can help you find a vacation that truly fits—not just send you a list of generic options.

When I’m not planning vacations, I’m usually spending time with my husband, Scott, and our two children— or being supervised by Kyzer, my dachshund and very spoiled momma’s boy. I also love spending time with my fur grandbabies, Daisy and Rusty. I’m an OU fan, enjoy a good night of bingo, and believe there should always be room in life for laughter, new experiences, and a little fun. 🤪

From comparing options and organizing the details to preparing you before departure and supporting you while you travel, I’ll be in your corner from our first conversation until you return home.

You won’t be booking with a faceless website or a call center. You’ll be working directly with me—and I’ll care about your vacation as though it were my own.
